He was the son of Kamran Mirza (\u06a9\u0627\u0645\u0631\u0627\u0646 \u0645\u06cc\u0631\u0632\u0627), son of Naser al-Din Shah (\u0646\u0627\u0635\u0631\u0627\u0644\u062f\u06cc\u0646 \u0634\u0627\u0647). Firuz al-Dawlah (\u0641\u06cc\u0631\u0648\u0632\u0627\u0644\u062f\u0648\u0644\u0647) was the administrator (mobasher) of Moniriyeh School (\u0645\u062f\u0631\u0633\u0647 \u0645\u0646\u06cc\u0631\u06cc\u0647). The school was located on Khayyam Street (\u062e\u06cc\u0627\u0628\u0627\u0646 \u062e\u06cc\u0627\u0645), shortly before Mohammadieh Square (\u0645\u06cc\u062f\u0627\u0646 \u0645\u062d\u0645\u062f\u06cc\u0647), adjacent to the shrine of Seyyed Naser al-Din (\u0628\u0642\u0639\u0647 \u0633\u06cc\u062f \u0646\u0627\u0635\u0631\u0627\u0644\u062f\u06cc\u0646).<\/p>\n
The founder of the school and the adjoining mosque was Monir al-Saltaneh (\u0645\u0646\u06cc\u0631\u0629\u0627\u0644\u0633\u0644\u0637\u0646\u0647), commonly known as Monir al-Saltaneh (\u0645\u0646\u06cc\u0631\u0627\u0644\u0633\u0644\u0637\u0646\u0647), sister of the Vazir Nezam (\u0648\u0632\u06cc\u0631\u0646\u0638\u0627\u0645), wife of Naser al-Din Shah (\u0646\u0627\u0635\u0631\u0627\u0644\u062f\u06cc\u0646 \u0634\u0627\u0647), and mother of Kamran Mirza Na’ib al-Saltaneh (\u06a9\u0627\u0645\u0631\u0627\u0646 \u0645\u06cc\u0631\u0632\u0627 \u0646\u0627\u06cc\u0628\u200c\u0627\u0644\u0633\u0644\u0637\u0646\u0647). Following the death of Vazir Nezam (\u0648\u0632\u06cc\u0631\u0646\u0638\u0627\u0645), since he had no children, his inheritance passed to her. From this inherited estate, she established the school and a mosque adjacent to it. The school was completed in 1311 AH.<\/p>\n
Originally, there had been a tekyeh adjacent to the shrine of Imamzadeh Seyyed Naser al-Din (\u0627\u0645\u0627\u0645\u0632\u0627\u062f\u0647 \u0633\u06cc\u062f \u0646\u0627\u0635\u0631\u0627\u0644\u062f\u06cc\u0646), where mourning ceremonies and rowzeh-khani were held. Because the site had fallen into disrepair, Monir al-Saltaneh (\u0645\u0646\u06cc\u0631\u0627\u0644\u0633\u0644\u0637\u0646\u0647), following a religious ruling (fatwa) by Mirza Mohammad-Hasan Ashtiani (\u0645\u06cc\u0631\u0632\u0627 \u0645\u062d\u0645\u062f\u062d\u0633\u0646 \u0622\u0634\u062a\u06cc\u0627\u0646\u06cc), converted it into a school and endowed properties in Tehran (\u062a\u0647\u0631\u0627\u0646) and Mazandaran (\u0645\u0627\u0632\u0646\u062f\u0631\u0627\u0646) for its maintenance.<\/p>\n
Moniriyeh School (\u0645\u062f\u0631\u0633\u0647 \u0645\u0646\u06cc\u0631\u06cc\u0647) had thirty-one cells, a library, and a teacher. Two theology students (talabeh) lived in each cell. Each cell received three rials per month for kerosene, while each student received twenty rials per month. The prayer leader and teachers were paid one hundred rials per month. On all religious festivals, each person received a plate of sweets and a two-thousand-dinar gold coin; coal was also provided during the winter.<\/p>\n
During the reign of Reza Shah (\u0631\u0636\u0627\u0634\u0627\u0647), as a result of the widening of Khayyam Street (\u062e\u06cc\u0627\u0628\u0627\u0646 \u062e\u06cc\u0627\u0645), formerly known as Jalilabad (\u062c\u0644\u06cc\u0644\u200c\u0622\u0628\u0627\u062f), Moniriyeh School (\u0645\u062f\u0631\u0633\u0647 \u0645\u0646\u06cc\u0631\u06cc\u0647) fell within the new street alignment and was demolished. Only the school and several cells remained.<\/p>\n
According to Balaghi (\u0628\u0644\u0627\u063a\u06cc), writing around 1350 SH, the school had by then become a coal-storage place for local shopkeepers, while the books from its library had been piled into one of the cells, whose door had been plastered shut for many years. Its administrator was Firuz al-Dawlah (\u0641\u06cc\u0631\u0648\u0632\u0627\u0644\u062f\u0648\u0644\u0647), son of Kamran Mirza Na’ib al-Saltaneh (\u06a9\u0627\u0645\u0631\u0627\u0646 \u0645\u06cc\u0631\u0632\u0627 \u0646\u0627\u06cc\u0628\u200c\u0627\u0644\u0633\u0644\u0637\u0646\u0647).<\/p>\n
